Expressions Speech, Language and Myofunctional Center is a speech therapy practice in Burlington, North Carolina.  The founder, Dr. Dawn Moore, has been practicing for 20 years and attended the University of Pittsburgh for both undergraduate and graduate school. She recently completed her Clinical Doctorate and studied the effects of co-articulation and augmented feedback on final /r/ production in children using a portion of her own program "Let's Hear It For R!  Her 20 years of experience and practice include the schools of North Carolina for 15 years as both a clinician and Lead SLP, where she was recognized as a Teacher of Excellence at the NC Exceptional Children’s Conference, a honor not often bestowed on SLPs. She began expanding into private practice serving children 12 months to 18 years in eight years ago. She has supervised many SLPs and Speech Assistants she has employed as well as students in varying educational programs. She regularly presents for various state speech conventions, county speech departments, and local Universities.
